Aloo mutter / potato peas subji ( no garlic ,no onion )




3 big Potato sliced in cubes 
1/2 cup green peas
Tomatoes large ones 2
Sambar powder - 1 tblsp
Salt to taste
Oil for seasoning
Turmeric powder. 1 pinch.
Ginger 1 inch
Green chili - 2

Grind to form a paste:

Grind Tomatoes , ginger , green chili

Method :

In a cooker add oil and temper it with Jeera.
Add tomato paste , turmeric powder and stir well for 2 min.
Add the cut potatoes and green peas.
Add salt for taste.
Add little water and close the cooker lid.
Keep for 3 whistles and turn off the heat.
Once cooker cools off, remove and serve hot.
Simple and easy to make and it tastes very yummy.

Aval sweet / Poha Jaggery sweet

I

Aval/ poha 1 cup
Jaggery 1 cup
Coconut 1/2 cup
Elachi powder 1 tsp
Ghee 1 tblsp
Cashew - 4 to 5

Method

1. Wash and drain the aval
2. In a pan add ghee and fry the cashews and keep aside.
3. In the same pan add  Jaggery and 1/2 cup water and bring it to boil.

4 add aval and mix together followed by coconut and elachi powder.



5. Mix everything together and keep stirring until it gets separated from the vessel.

6. Turn of the heat and garnish with cashews.

Easy microwave idli in 2 min.

Ingredients :-

Idli batter
Microwave safe bowl
Oil for greasing

Method:

Take a microwave safe bowl. Grease the base of the bowl.

Pour 2 scoops of idli batter in the bowl.

Microwave for 2 min in high power. Insert tooth pick ,if it comes out clean it's done. If not keep for 30 sec more or until done.

Transfer it to the serving plate and it's ready.


Note :-

If you wish you could add fruits salt eno one tsp to get fluffy idlies. This is optional. Eat while it is hot. If later you could reheat the Idlies covered for 30 sec before having it.
